Read Before Purchase -

1.Please ensure that your device has a thunderbolt 3/4 / USB-C 3.1 Gen 2 or above ports that support "Power Delivery&DisplayPort Alt Mode" to support video output. HDMI function needs to confirm if the usb c port of your device supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode.

You can check with ABIWAZY if you are not sure.

2. ONLY when your devices support 4K resolution, the video output will be 4K, please make sure to use HDMI 2.0 or higher cable.

(When it works with single display, If you want to output 4K@60Hz resolution, your laptop needs to support DP1.4 output).

3. Please plug in the laptop's power adapter to the USB-C Power Delivery port before connecting an external hard drive or multiple display purpose, to ensure enough power to work.

(Please use a PD charger with more than 65W and the usb c port of the source laptop is support PD protocol. )

4. As long as you use HDMI, VGA, and DP port, the built-in chip will work at full capacity by default, and the chip temperature will naturally rise at this time, which is normal. When the Docking is working, the heating temperature is acceptable within 150 °F.

Max resolution when Dual Display:

Mirror Mode(The Screen of 2 monitors and Laptop are same): A (Laptop) to A (monitor 1) + A (monitor 2)

For laptop on DP1.4 Extend Mode(The Screen of 2 4K monitors and Laptop are different): A (Laptop) to B (4K monitor 1) + C (4K monitor 2)

For laptop on DP1.4 Extend Mode(The Screen of 2 monitors and Laptop are different): A (Laptop) to B (4K monitor 1) + C (2K/1080P monitor 2)

Tips:

1. The HDIM1/DP video output resolution can reach up to 4K@60Hz while work separately while source is DP1.4.

2. The final resolution is set by the laptop bandwidth, cable and external monitor related to the resolution in the description if you meet all the above conditions.

For laptop on DP1.4 Mirror Mode(The Screen of 3 monitors and Laptop are same): A (Laptop) to A (monitor 1) + A (monitor 2) + A (monitor 3)

For laptop on DP1.4 Extend Mode(The Screen of 3 monitors and Laptop are different): A (Laptop) to B (monitor 1) + C (monitor 2) + D (monitor 3)

Note:For Intel Graphics Laptop,only provides Three Display data stream outputs at the same time.That is to say:One screen goes black when connecting three or four monitors.

Max resolution when Quadruple Display for Wondows laptop:

For laptop on DP1.4 Mirror Mode(The Screen of 4 monitors and Laptop are same)

For laptop on DP1.4 Mirror Mode(Four Monitors Screen are different from Laptop)

For laptop on DP1.4 Extend Mode(The Screen of 4monitors and Laptop are different)

Whether in mirror or extended mode, the max resolution of the 5 screens can be up to 1920x1080 @ 60Hz. (For DP1.2, the resolution of 5 screens would be lower than 1920x1080p.)

Mirror & Non-Mirror Mode for Mac OS:
