Newer tablets, laptops, desktop computers and even smartphones often have USB Type-C ports, but they come equipped with few others. Using a single USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 port, this Tripp Lite docking station adds versatile connections to your device.

Typical Applications

Connecting the attached USB-C cable to a source device that supports DisplayPort MST (Multi-Stream Transport) mode to transmit content to up to three monitors simultaneously. With a Windows source device, you can display the same image on all connected monitors, extend the host desktop across them with different windows open on each, or combine them into one large display as a video wall. Note: Mac OS laptops or computers will only extend to one monitor. The other monitors will be mirrored.

The compact U442-DOCK-16B not only fits conveniently on your desktop, but also in laptop bags and travel cases so you won’t need to bring multiple adapters on the road. Its self-storing USB-C plug conveniently folds into the U442-DOCK-16B’s housing, and its plug-and-play setup requires no software or external power source ? it works right out of the box.
