Arducam UB0240 camera module is a new member of Arducam’s USB camera family. It’s an 8MP, based on the 1/3.2” IMX179 sensor, UVC compliant USB 2.0 camera. The IMX179 USB camera can also be used as a lightburn camera, which can be used to capture images of the workpiece and display them in the lightburn software. This is particularly useful for working with irregularly shaped workpieces or for engraving on objects that do not have a flat surface.
