The Keychron Q4 is a fully customizable mechanical keyboard with QMK/VIA support and full aluminum frame. Anyone can intuitively master any keyboard keys or macro commands through the VIA software. The Q4 is designed with all components easily assembled, so you can customize the hardware and software with endless possibilities.

The hot-swappable sockets supports both 3 pin and 5 pin MX mechanical switches (including Cherry, Gateron, Kailh, Panda, etc.), so you can customize your favorite switches without soldering.

The screw-in design increases stability and makes it easier for changes and upgrades. Precise craftsmanship makes the stabilizers more stable and less wobbly. The big keys’ typing experience is now more stable and smooth. The Keychron Q4 also supports third-party stabilizers including Cherry or Durock.

The Q4 comes with our unique OSA profile (OEM profile with spherical-angle) and double-shot PBT keycaps that aim to provide a more comfortable and subtle fingertip feel with excellent oil resistance for long-term use.

Simply connect the Q4 to your device with a cable, import the Q4 keymap JSON file into the VIA software, drag and drop your favorite keys or macro commands to remap any key you want on macOS, Windows, or Linux operating systems, e.g.: create a macro command of a screenshot on macOS. A brand new ultra-low-power Arm Cortex-M4 32-bit STM32L432 MCU which is powerful, and armed with 128K Flash will provide more flexibility for developers.

Comes with a 60% compact layout, the Q4 is crafted with 6063 aluminum that is processed through CNC machined, polished, anodized, sandblasted, and undergoes 24 more manufacturing stages to make this solid metal piece of art that is the Q4.

A reliable USB Type-C wired connection with 1000 Hz polling rate and NKRO make sure you won't miss a beat no matter cranking out emails or code.

Note: Please avoid connecting the Q4 with a laptop through a hub to ensure enough power supply. For the same reason, please turn off the keyboard backlight if the Q4 is connecting with a tablet.

The pre-lubed Gateron G Pro mechanical switches come with an optimized mold with more precise positioning, and less wobbliness will certainly improve your fingertip feel. The Gateron switch is durable enough with an unrivaled tactile responsiveness on the linear red switch and up to 50 million keystroke lifespan.
