Tripp Lite’s B032-VU2 2-Port USB/VGA Cable KVM Switch provides complete control of two desktop or laptop computers using one VGA monitor, USB keyboard and USB mouse. This ultra-compact, cable-style switch has VGA and USB cables built right into it. It’s a simple, all-in-one solution for controlling two computers from a central location?or connecting one or two laptops to a larger display. It supports video resolutions up to 2048 x 1536.
With no software, drivers or external power supply required, the B032-VU2’s plug-and-play setup gets your application up and running quickly. Simply connect your keyboard, mouse and monitor to the switch’s console ports, then connect the switch’s built-in cables to the appropriate ports on your computers. You can also connect a USB 1.1 hub (sold separately) to the switch’s mouse port to allow sharing of USB peripherals between computers. Once the B032-VU2 is installed, switching between computers is easy using the unit’s remote port selector. LEDs on the unit indicate which computer is selected.
The B032-VU2 is compatible with most major operating systems, including Windows, Mac, Sun and Linux. Its console mouse port supports most mouse drivers and multifunction mice.
Because of its compact, cable-style design, no desk space is required for installation of the B032-VU2. This makes it perfect for a wide variety of home, office, gaming and multimedia applications.
