The B203-104-PNP comes with both the transmitter (local) and receiver (remote) units and sends signals over user-supplied Cat5e/6 cable, such as Tripp Lite’s N202-series.

By extending the USB connection beyond the normal 16 ft. distance limitation, the B203-104-PNP provides workstation flexibility and eliminates the need for a mid-point hub or receiver. With the use of Cat5/6 cabling, a computer and its USB peripherals can be located up to 164 ft. away from each other. And, with transfer rates up to 480 Mbps, performance never suffers. The B203-104-PNP is backward compatible with USB 1.1 technology. For maximum signal strength, use Cat6 solid-conductor UTP cable, such as Tripp Lite’s N202-series. Before using with a touchscreen monitor, confirm that your monitor supports USB 2.0 over Cat5/6 extenders.

With a built-in USB cable, the transmitter unit offers easy connection to your computer for true plug-and-play functionality without drivers or software. The remote unit comes with an external power supply that provides 2 amps of power, allowing you to access and power up to four USB peripherals.
