Product Summary.
Tripp Lite’s E2MTDO E2 Environmental Sensor Module allows you to measure and monitor ambient temperature conditions in your data center or other properly ventilated network environment from a remote location. You can also remotely activate or deactivate up to two compatible products, such as beacons and alarm signals.
The E2MTDO connects to Tripp Lite LX Platform devices, including WEBCARDLX, WEBCARDLXS, PDU3XE-Series PDUs and PDU3E-Series PDUs, using the included USB cable. If the monitored temperature exceeds a certain limit or the digital output changes state, the activity is recorded in the LX Platform device’s PowerAlert Device Manager event log.
Twin magnets attached to the E2MTDO’s bottom allow you to mount the module to most racks and cabinets without tools. A built-in retention harness secures the cables to keep the application organized and uncluttered. You can daisy-chain as many as three E2 modules (including E2MT, E2MTDI and E2MTHDI) by connecting the USB-A port of the preceding module to the USB Micro-B port of the next module.
